In CEATEC2010, our theme was "Cross X Think" , and we introduced the Epson's vision for device business and actual products.

Technical writer Katsumi Yamashita reported picking up the product with the feature exhibited to CEATEC 2010.

  • Gyro-sensors for Yaw Rate & Roll Rate : Automotive gyro-sensors can withstand temperatures to 125℃ and have enhanced properties of vibration resistance and  impact resistance, as well as being able to prevent erroneous sensing
  • Six-axis Sensors : A 6-axis sensor in the 'smallest class of sensors in the world' has been developed - suitable for data loggers and motion detection requiring attitude angle calculations
  • Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) : Highly accurate, highly stable Inertial Measurement Unit under development for industrial and commercial applications
  • Crystal Pressure Sensor : Commercialization of highly accurate, compact crystal pressure sensor with height conversion resolution of 3cm
  • Tuning Fork Crystal Units : Epson Toyocom achieves tuning fork-shaped crystal unit just 0.38mm thick; ~ Total cumulative production for general purpose circuits to exceed 5 billion units ~
